Riedwiesenstrasse 23, 8305 Dietlikon, Switzerland
Last updated: October 2025
1. Scope of Application
These General Terms and Conditions (GTC) govern the legal relationship between
RedCube GmbH, Riedwiesenstrasse 23, 8305 Dietlikon (Switzerland) – hereinafter referred to as “trueVR Center” – and its customers.
They apply to all services provided by trueVR Center in connection with virtual reality experiences, event offers, and gift vouchers, whether purchased by private individuals (B2C) or business clients (B2B).
By completing a booking or using any service, customers acknowledge these GTC as binding.
2. Services
trueVR Center offers virtual reality experiences and events as described on its website or in current marketing materials.
Modifications to offers, games, or technical equipment may occur, provided that the essential nature of the service remains unaffected.
The offer is available to both private and business customers. The number of participants is limited depending on the selected game and room.
3. Booking and Conclusion of Contract
Bookings can be made via the online booking system at www.vr-center.ch, by e-mail, or by telephone.
A contract is concluded once trueVR Center confirms the booking (e.g. via confirmation e-mail).
For private customers (B2C), the booking becomes binding upon successful online payment or prepayment.
For business customers (B2B), written confirmation or invoicing may be arranged by mutual agreement.
If invoices are not paid on time, trueVR Center reserves the right to cancel the reservation.
4. Payment Terms
For private customers (B2C), payment is made directly during the online booking process or via advance payment. The booking becomes final once payment has been confirmed.
Business customers (B2B) may pay by invoice upon prior agreement. Payment term: 10 days from the invoice date.
In the event of late payment, interest on arrears and administrative fees will be charged in accordance with Article 104 of the Swiss Code of Obligations (OR).
5. Cancellations, Rebookings, and Verification Obligation
Once a booking has been completed, it is binding.
As each customer is assigned exclusive time slots, cancellations or rebookings are generally not possible, and there is no entitlement to a refund.
A rebooking may be granted at the discretion of trueVR Center and subject to availability; no legal right exists.
Customers may, however, nominate replacement participants to take their booked slot.
If a session cannot take place due to technical or organizational reasons attributable to trueVR Center, a replacement date will be offered or a voucher of equal value will be issued. Cash refunds are excluded.
Verification of Booking Confirmation
Customers are required to check the booking confirmation immediately upon receipt for accuracy (date, time, number of participants, game type).
Any errors or discrepancies must be reported in writing to info@vr-center.ch within 24 hours of receipt of the confirmation.
After this period, the booking is deemed correct and binding.
6. Participation and Safety
Participation is at the participant’s own risk. Recommended minimum age: 10 years (depending on the game).
Children may only participate when accompanied by a parent, guardian, or supervising adult.
Persons with health conditions (e.g. epilepsy, heart problems, balance disorders, pregnancy) should seek medical advice before participating.
Customers must follow the instructions of the staff at all times. Failure to comply or misuse of the equipment may result in exclusion from participation without refund.
7. Vouchers and Promotions
Vouchers are valid for 24 months from the date of purchase. After expiry, the voucher may be extended or credited at the discretion of trueVR Center.
Value vouchers (monetary vouchers) will be fully credited to their remaining value even after 24 months.
Cash refunds are excluded.
The limited validity is justified by possible changes in technology and pricing structures.
Discount campaigns and promotional codes cannot be combined.
In the event of loss or theft, replacement cannot be guaranteed.
8. Liability
Use of the facilities and equipment is at the participant’s own risk.
trueVR Center is liable only for damages caused by intentional or grossly negligent conduct of its employees.
No liability is accepted for minor negligence or for typical risks associated with VR experiences (e.g. dizziness, nausea, loss of balance, collisions).
trueVR Center accepts no liability for lost items, valuables, or personal belongings.
This limitation of liability does not apply to damages resulting from intentional or grossly negligent acts or from injury to life, body, or health (Art. 100 para. 1 Swiss Code of Obligations).
9. Data Protection
Personal data is processed in accordance with the Swiss Data Protection Act (DSG) and – where applicable – the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
Processing is carried out solely for the purpose of fulfilling contracts, providing customer support, and complying with legal obligations.
Further details can be found in the privacy policy at www.vr-center.ch/datenschutz.
10. Applicable Law and Jurisdiction
These terms are governed exclusively by Swiss law, excluding international conflict-of-law provisions.
The place of jurisdiction is Zurich, to the extent permitted by law.
The contractual language is German.
11. Final Provisions
If individual provisions of these GTC are or become invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected.
In place of the invalid provision, a valid regulation shall apply that most closely reflects the economic intent of the original clause.
